This activity, for Year 10-12 pupils with an aspiration to study Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Nursing at university, provides the opportunity to learn comparative physiology in the animal world at the RVC’s London Campus. A welcoming introductory talk will be followed by: a Directed Learning session based around a disease outbreak modelled after content from the Biological Sciences course; an interactive quiz using different real animal specimens within the impressive Anatomy Museum; the opportunity to explore physiology in context with our live calves, where groups can learn stethoscope skills and bovine adaptations. This is typically conducted by the RVC’s Anatomy Team and Head of Anatomy Mr Andrew Crook MBE.

Important: Animal welfare is paramount at RVC, thus if our calves or any of our activities are not available an alternative activity is provided.
